Purpose
The purpose of the Faculty Senate is to: (1) Facilitate communication among faculty. (2) Serve as the executive-representative body of SCC faculty in dealings with the college administration, district administration, and governing board. (3) To select representatives to serve on administrative councils and on coordinating committees of the faculties of the colleges of the district, and (4) To participate in the formation and implementation of policies for the local college and district.
